So, what’s up with this site?
Sometimes people offer to send me products to review on my blog. Sometimes I find something cool at the store or on the internet I have to tell people about or I’ll explode. However, some times that’s not so cool with my current advertisers on my blog. So, like many other bloggers, I created a review blog so I can still tell you about all the cool stuff I get to try.

Do people pay you for reviews?
Sometimes. Sometimes they just send me a free book to read or a free product to try. Other times they send both the product and a small payment for my time. Sometimes I just review things because I saw it and I like it and nobody paid me a dime. I try to remember to let you know which is which in each post. If I don’t mention it and you’re curious, just ask.

Are you paid to write positive reviews?
Nobody has every offered to pay me for a positive review and I wouldn’t do it if they asked. If I like the product I tell you. If I don’t like the product I tell you. If I’m iffy I’ll tell you. I will never lie for money. That’s just not who I am.

What stuff do you review?
I’ll review anything that interests me; books, software, games, makeup, toothpaste, whatever. However I won’t review things I wouldn’t normally try just to review them. I don’t think I’d do a product justice if it’s not something that interests me or relates to me. For example, my youngest child is five so we are way past baby toys and potty training. I just wouldn’t be able to review products or books on those subjects because it’s been quite a while since I lived it.

How do I know it’s a good product just because you said so?
You don’t. It’s just my opinion. We may have different likes and dislikes. But I do try to give a fair description of the product and tell you what I like and don’t like about it.
